The management of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi has strength the team with the arrival of three new players ahead of the second round of their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

According to a statement from the media officer, Usman Bature, the trio of Abubakar Aliyu alias 'Korea' who makes a return from Nasarawa United, Obed Ponkap joins from FC Barau while Ibrahim Shaibu arrives from Remo Stars.

Aliyu is a midfielder, Ponkap a winger while Shuaibu is an out and out striker.

In another development, former Nigerian youth international, John Dosu has quit his job as goalkeeper trainer with Sporting Supreme of Lagos.

In a resignation letter addressed to the management, Coach Dosu explicitly said he's leaving his job with immediate effect without reasons.

"I, hereby submit my official resignation as goalkeeper coach of Sporting Supreme, effective immediately.

"I want to express my gratitude to the management for the opportunity to be part of this team. I also extend my appreciation to the coaches and backroom staff for their support and collaboration.

"It's time for me to move on to new challenges and opportunities. I wish the team all the best in their future endeavours," the younger brother of Atlanta Olympics Nigeria goalkeeper, Dosu, said in the letter.
